Camo & Cashmere

Happy Hump Day!!! :)

Today I am wearing Camo (shoes) and Cashmere (sweater).  Who would have thought the two could go together?!  I guess opposites do, in fact, attract!

I l.o.v.e. these shoes.  They were a gift from my hubby - it's a little bit of him and a little bit of me wrapped up in a shoe - pure perfection!!

On a funny note - I wanted to try this new recipe that I saw in a cookbook.  It requires a crock pot.  I love crock pots - especially with our crazy schedules.  Anyway, I was really looking forward to dinner last night .... but..... I came home to this ----

Needless to say - after I saw this ... I sent this.....

Yup - sums up my evening!!!

Scrub-a-dub-dub

Happy Monday! Ugh, is it possible for Monday to be happy?! Maybe... but, I know, for me, it's so hard to get out of bed after a long, relaxing Sunday.  Showers are what get my day going - I can't function if I don't have a shower in the morning.  I have tried to be a night time shower person to allow more time for me in the morning - but, I can't - I just can't wake up until I'm fresh and so clean clean in the morning. 

I am a product junkie - BIG TIME.  I have tried so many different types of shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, razors - you name it - I've tried it. (That might be a little dramatic - but, I have tried a lot!!).

I thought it would be fun to share what I use every morning to wake myself up!

OK - This is it!! This is my morning shower routine.  Pretty, right?

(1) Facewash - Philosophy Purity Made Simple - I l-o-v-e this stuff.  This facewash removes everything!! Even mascara - and it doesn't leave you with raccoon eyes after you think your face is clean.  You know what I'm talkin' about...

(2) Body Wash - Philosophy Be Somebody - This smells so lovely!! Perfect for Spring.

(3) Shampoo - Redken Body Full - Gives me the body I luuuuuust after!!!

(4) Conditioner - Redken Body Full - I love this, it doesn't weigh my hair down.

(5) Moisturizer for hair - Redken Extreme Cat - I have naturally curly hair and I straighten it every day.  This helps with the damage my blow dryer and straightener are doing to my locks.

(6) Shaving Cream - Aveeno Positively Smooth - Truly leaves you positively smooth :)

(7) Razor - I LOVE THIS RAZOR!!!! I used the Schick Quattro for years - I recently switched over to the Schick Hydro Silk and I couldn't be more pleased!! Summer is approaching...

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!!!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!!!

Such a fun, fun day!! The toilet surprise for my husband (see this post - so you don't think I'm nuts) was a HUGE success.  He died - which, in return made me die.  He's such a fun guy, totally humors me when I'm being a little over the top. (I love that about him).

We have our St. Patrick's dinner going in the crock pot right now.  Y.U.M.M.Y.!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from my boss this morning and he told me to come in an hour late - no problem, right?!? RIGHT!!! So, considering I was ready to head to the office when he called me - I scooped up the puppy and the hubby and we headed off the PetSmart.  Izzy needed a new shirt - b/c the "Pet me I'm Irish" shirt didn't fit from last year - little chunk.  We found an adorable top - she looks so cute.  We're a family of green today and I love it - no pinches coming our way.

High Five For Friday!!!

Good Morning!! I hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday.  I think I bragged a little too much about the nice weather we have been having - I woke up this morning to a wet, dreary day.  On a positive note - let the choir sing - IT'S FRIDAY!!! 1. Polyvore!! I created this board today -- to show what I'm wearing.  My husband had to leave early thing morning - so early I was still in my jammies scuffing around the house - so, considering he's my photographer, I couldn't get a picture of todays outfit.  High Five to Polyvore for being my 'camera'.

2.  Friday - is the start of the weekend - and when the weekend starts so does J.Crew Factory.  I'm an addict - I think I need an intervention.

 4.  I had an awesome weekend in Ohio this past weekend visiting family.  My brother is getting married in July to the sweetest girl EVER.  So, in honor of my future sister-in-law I threw her a Bridal Shower.  We had so much fun and it was great getting to spend quality time with friends and family!! High Five for Friends and Family!!! :)

5. The two loves of my life - Doug & Izzy.  They are the greatest to wake up to each and every morning!!!  (can you find izzy)?? LOL .. she's a snuggler just liker her Momma!

Happy Pi Day!!

Good day!! :) Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather!! I know I am - the Hubby & I are debating whether or not to get the boat out... there is always a possibility of a snow fall in April, though... hmm... decisions decisions! :)

Here are my favorites from Pinterest - as of this moment -

My brother is getting married in July (WOO HOO!!) There are going to be a lot of out of town guests; so, my Mom and I are planning on putting together some "Welcome Bags" I love this idea for the kiddo's that will be attending!! So cute - and look at all that yellow.

This - Cracks - Me - Up.  Totally looks like something that would happen at my office.  Unfortunately I would be the person to be using the Comic Sans font... (**Slaps palm on forehead**)

This picture was my motivation for my newly organized pantry. (Before and After Pictures to come soon!!!).

Pfew.. back at it

I need to start out by saying - time flies.  I am back - thank goodness.  I have found myself wrapped up in so many different things - darn you real world!!  I want to go back to the days of "break" whether it be "spring" or "summer" ohhh those were the days.

I did, however, brighten my day today by ordering this pretty little number;

I can't wait to pair this tucked in with some jeans and heels - throw on some pretty jewles!!! :)  The lightness of the fabric screams spring to me.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous March so far - it's hard to believe it's halfway over.  Saint Patrick's day is this Saturday - I. Can't. Wait. 

It feels so good to be back - and I am so sorry I was MIA for a while.
